title:Currensy – Dollar Sign Eyes Ft Joey Badass:/title
Immersed in a slight dissonance, the instrumental for Curren$y’s “Dollar Sign Eyes” is strange to say the least. Blending organic live instrumentation with a disorienting synthesizer line, Spitta’s Joey Bada$$ collaboration is a fascinating listen. Driven by a high octave bassline reminiscent of OutKast’s. Wheelz Of Steel,” even Ron Burgandy’s Yazz flute makes a subtle appearance. Dense and lush, the production for this is something like an out of body experience. And while it might be off putting to some, that doesn’t stop both rappers from holding it down.
